    The Directory of Tennessee’s Forest Industries is published by the TDA Forestry Division in cooperation with the Tennessee Valley Authority and the USDA Forest Service. It is a directory of primary and secondary wood-using industries that are located within the state of Tennessee. The Forest History Society has long had an interest in documenting the history of the U.S. Forest Service, the federal agency with responsibility for managing the largest number of forested acres in the United States.
